Themepul themes provide default settings for blog pages and posts, including layout, banners, and all post elements. These defaults ensure a consistent, professional look across your website.


1. Layout

  • Select Layout: Choose the default layout for all blog pages. Options may include standard, grid, or masonry layouts.
  • This layout will be applied globally unless overridden on individual pages.

2. Banner / Breadcrumb Area

  • Select Options for Page Banner: Define the default banner and breadcrumb style.
  • Default Banner: Upload a default banner image for blog pages.
  • Breadcrumb Area: Set default text, link colors, spacing, and alignment.

3. Post Features (Default)

Themepul themes allow you to display the following post features by default:

  • Featured Image: Display the main image for each post.
  • Post Title: Show the post title with default styling.
  • Post Description / Excerpt: Display a short excerpt or description of the post.
  • Author Name: Show or hide the post author.
  • Post Date: Show or hide the published date.
  • Comment Count: Display the number of comments per post.
  • Categories: Show categories assigned to the post.
  • Tags: Display tags associated with the post.
  • Read More Button: Show a “Read More” button with default text (can be customized).
  • Pagination: Enable default pagination for navigating multiple blog posts.

4. Tips for Default Blog Features

  • Use featured images consistently for a visually appealing blog layout.
  • Keep excerpt lengths concise for readability.
  • Display essential meta (author, date, category) to provide context without clutter.
  • Use default banners and breadcrumb styling for a unified website appearance.
  • Override defaults only on specific posts/pages if customization is needed.
